Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

Augusta, Georgia

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Work Environment

Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Equipment used: Drager ventilators, Phillips V60 CPAPs, Arivo2 Hiflo
Documentation system: Meditech
Shift: Night shift including some weekends
Dress code: Maroon scrubs or facility scrubs

Requirements

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Skills and Procedures

Advanced skills with ventilators, CPAPs, ABGs, and Hiflo devices
Procedures performed include ventilation management, CPAP administration, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and use of Hiflo equipment

Additional Information

Facility is a 354-bed hospital known for specialized centers including a nationally recognized burn center, Human Motion Institute, Digestive Disease Center, Pelvic Health Institute, and Stroke Center
Positive staff culture with strong managerial support
