Mammography Tech - Radiology
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule follows facility policy, including every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital staff.
- Unit: Radiology (Breast Imaging)
- Patient volume: Approximately 15 patients per day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Staffing: 1 mammography tech and 1 unit secretary per shift
- Equipment used: GE Pristina mammography system
- Documentation systems: MRS, Meditech, GE PACS
- Floating: May float to 2 other breast centers within 15-20 minutes
- Procedures: Mammography screenings only
- Dress code: Scrubs in gray, pink, or black

Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of mammography technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT or ARRT (M) certification
- SCRQSA certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with mammography and bone density procedures
