Description

Registered Nurse - Ortho (Travel/Contract)

Location: Burlington, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
No call required
Float as needed
Charge RN shifts required as needed
Unit: 29-bed unit caring for adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
Patient Population:
- High volume: total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties
- Moderate volume: other surgical procedures, inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients
Telemetry monitoring available
Physical therapy gym located on unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge RN roles
Previous travel nursing experience
Demonstrated orthopedic nursing experience
