Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: 7 Tower, 33 beds
- Patient Ratio: 5:1
- Staffing: Charge nurse, RNs, techs, secretary
- Documentation System: Meditechs
- Scheduling: Every other weekend required; requests for time off are accommodated
- Floating Policy: Travelers rotate floating duties as needed
- Patient Experience: White boards must be filled out
- Dress Code: Navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
