Description

Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room
Number of ORs: 16
Floor: 2nd floor, Main Hospital
EMR System: Meditech
Typical procedures: Total joints, spine, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, plastics

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Transplant skill set and transplant experience
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience preferred
Certified in specialty preferred

Work Schedule & Call Requirements

36 hours per week
Call schedule varies over an 8-week period, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call shifts on weekdays and weekends
Typical call shifts: 7-8 over 8 weeks (may vary)
30-minute response time required when on call
