Description
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Float RN position covering all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with a cardiac patient population.
- Patient ratio typically 1:3-4.
- Care for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, chest pain, and on cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
- May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity patients.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical records system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, specifically in a cardiac PCU setting
- At least 1 year of recent cardiac PCU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification

- Minimal return-to-office (RTO) requirements.
