Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) during day shifts.
- Must be willing to float across multiple campuses within Des Moines to like units (campuses are minutes apart).
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
- Orientation starts July 6.
- Workweek: 36-40 hours with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience of 2 years, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Strong and experienced circulator experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with structural heart procedures.
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
- Prior travel experience highly preferred.
- Preference for candidates with scrubber experience.
- Ability to precept as needed.
Additional Information
- Must be able to float across all Des Moines campuses to similar units.
- Call back and on-call opportunities available with additional compensation.
- Employee separation policy restricts past employees from working travel in other markets within 12 months if previously employed full-time or PRN in the float pool.
