Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

Augusta, Georgia

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shifts including some weekends
Approximately 36 hours per week

Unit and Equipment

Respiratory Therapy unit
Equipment used includes Drager ventilators, Phillips V60 CPAPs, Arivo2, and Hiflo devices
Documentation system: Meditech

Required Certifications and Licenses

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience, including experience within the last year)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Skills and Procedures

Advanced skills with ventilators, CPAPs, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and Hiflo devices
Ability to perform procedures related to ventilator management and respiratory care

Dress Code

Maroon scrubs or facility-provided scrubs
