Description
Certified Surgical First Assistant - Travel/Contract
Location: Clinton, Maryland
Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist in the operating room as a first assist during surgical procedures.
- Neuro and plastics surgical experience is required.
- Call requirements: 4-6 weekday call shifts.
- Weekend coverage: 3-5 weekend days within a six-week period.
- Holiday coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a First Assist Technician, including experience within the last year.
- Neuro and plastics surgical experience.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC certified.
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification.
