Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab

Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Requires 1-2 years of experience in physical therapy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• Experience in an inpatient setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA or ARC.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit.
• Other certifications (e.g., PALS, NRP) are not specified as required for this role.

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam with physician’s statement within 1 year of start.
• Fit testing for N95 mask will be performed onsite; required for certain units.
• Immunizations/vaccinations required or documentation of immunity/declination for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test (QGold or T-SPOT) within 30 days of start; chest X-ray if positive.
• Annual TB questionnaire required.
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start; instant drug screens not accepted.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required by November 1st or signed declination (mask required if declined).

Facility Specific Requirements

• Photo for badge (headshot on plain white background).
• Completion of Code of Conduct Acknowledgement.
• Completion of new employee orientation and onboarding documents prior to start.
• Fit test for mask onsite after orientation.
• Completion of professional and confidentiality agreements.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and background checks timely.
• Candidates with latex allergies must notify management at orientation.
• No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
