Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER (Night Shift)

Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Registered Nurse for Emergency Room (ER) night shift.
• Requires 2 years of nursing experience.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current Washington RN license (compact license accepted with additional state requirements).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification (preferred at start, required by 6 months).

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• TNCC certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Information

• Background checks include national and state criminal, sex offender, and employment history verification.
• Candidates must complete state-approved suicide prevention training if using a compact license.
• Fit testing failure disqualifies RN from caring for TB isolation patients.
• Pro-Act certification required within 6 months if working in behavioral health (not specified for this role).
• Orientation and fit testing occur onsite.
• Candidates must complete new employee paperwork within 48 hours of contract signing.
