Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Night shift including some weekends


Unit and Work Environment

  • Unit: Respiratory Therapy (RT)
  • Equipment used: Drager ventilators, Phillips V60 CPAPs, Arivo2 Hiflo
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Procedures and skills required:
    • Ventilator management, CPAPs, ABGs, Hiflo devices
    • Advanced procedures including diagnostic, interventional, therapeutic, and robotic bronchoscopy (ION/Intuitive)
    • Cryotherapy, cautery, fluoroscopy, stent placement, fiducial placement
    • Pulmonary function testing including CPET, DLCO, pre/post testing
    • Metabolic cart testing
  • Dress code: Maroon scrubs or facility scrubs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
