Radiation Therapist - Ohio (Bryan)

Job Details

• Location: Bryan, Ohio
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
• Work Schedule: No weekends, no on-call required
• Work Environment: Therapist never works alone
• Department: Radiation Oncology (standalone department with 1 treatment machine and 1 CT simulator)
• Patient Volume: Treats 15 to 20 patients daily
• Dress Code: Charcoal/Gray scrubs

Job Responsibilities

• Perform External Beam Radiation Therapy including SBRT, SRS, VMAT, SGRT with Identify, and DIBH techniques
• Utilize equipment such as Siemens Somatom CT, Varian True Beam, Aria, Eclipse, and Epic electronic medical records system
• Participate in general hospital orientation and department-specific training, including equipment training (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• No floating to other units; position is specific to Bryan, OH location only
• Orientation includes 8 non-billable hours; clinicians returning within 12 months of last assignment are not eligible for non-billable orientation
• Call-off/cancellation allowed up to 24 hours before shift for this 13-week assignment
