Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Location: Crestview, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 11 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room as a circulating nurse.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff.
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, physician orders, and hospital policies.
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Shift: Days, 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call duties.
• Weekly hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with surgical robotics
