Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 36 hours per week (7:00am - 7:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday

Job Description

• Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders.
• Work environment involves sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and intermittent ambulation.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to see and hear within normal ranges (with or without correction).
• Requires finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, by phone, and email.
• Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is expected.
• Use of clinical software such as Epic and Pyxis is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (CRT not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic clinical software
