MRI Technologist - Evening

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 26 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 x 12-hour shifts, 3a-3p evening schedule)
Schedule: Includes weekday and weekend hours
Call Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Licensure & Certifications

• Professional license and/or certification must be verified via primary source within 30 days of start date and maintained current
• No conditional Massachusetts licenses accepted

Health & Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required
• Documentation of TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if break >6 months
• Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if break >6 months
• Documentation of MMR immunity (vaccines or blood test) required
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years preferred
• If positive TB test, documentation of negative chest x-ray required

Background & Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Color badge photo taken within past 6 months (plain background, no filters or eyeglasses, symmetrical headshot)

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required
• No call responsibilities
• Evening shift primarily from 3 AM to 3 PM (noted as evening in description)

This position is suitable for MRI Technologists holding the appropriate certification and licensure, who are comfortable working extended shifts including weekends, and meeting comprehensive health and background screening requirements.
