Description

MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work in a hospital recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety.
Unit uses GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR system.
Typical procedures include MRI with contrast and non-contrast.
Dress code: Black scrubs.
Rotating weekends and on-call duties required.

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year.
ARRT (MR) Certification.
BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI is preferred.

Unit Information

Staff on day shift includes approximately 9 team members (e.g., charge tech, RNs, CNAs, sitters).
Located on the 1st floor at 222 Asheland Ave, Asheville, NC.

Work Hours

Approximately 36 hours per week.

Additional Notes

Candidates without MRI registration will not be considered.
The role requires flexibility for rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
