Description
Sonographer – Maternal Fetal Medicine
Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Weekend/Holiday/Call Requirements: None
Job Overview
- Perform Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography including:
- OB extended ultrasound, OB follow-up
- Umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery dopplers
- 1st trimester screening, biophysical profiles
- Fetal echo, twins and triplets imaging
- Transvaginal and PR interval studies
- Average 8 to 10 studies per day
- Potential to work 2 days per week on a mobile unit traveling up to 2 hours to outreach locations (10-hour days, sole tech with driver) starting in September
- Department currently has 3 scanners/rooms, possibly adding a 4th temporary room
Equipment & Systems
- Ultrasound machines: Phillips Epiq and GE Voluson 18
- Software: Syngo Dynamics, Cerner, Syngo Workflow
Scheduling & Work Environment
- Fixed schedule, no self-scheduling
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
- Dress code: Business casual or scrubs (scrubs not provided)
- Must clock in and out at the facility
Required Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
- Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Nuchal Translucency (NT-FMF) certification
- Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography
Additional Information
- No IV starts required
- Radiologist available in-house
- No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
- Department-specific orientation in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Note: Candidates who have previously worked for this employer must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
