Description
Occupational Therapist
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
- Support participants in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans.
- Work primarily with elderly and frail populations.
- Participate in a program providing comprehensive, coordinated, whole-person care to seniors to help them live safely in their homes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado, maintained throughout employment.
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with geriatric patients.
