Description

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

Work in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 Cath Lab suites and a 4-person team per patient.
Procedures include Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab work such as Left and Right Heart Catheterizations, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer and Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests.
New Cath Lab and EP equipment installed as of March 2023.
Documentation systems used: Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech.
Scheduling requires call coverage: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 additional days per week.
Floating policy includes Cath Lab and Outpatient Stress Test units.
Dress code: solid color scrubs.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
Minimum 1 year of total travel experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
ARRT or RCIS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Cath Lab team includes unit secretaries and scrub techs available per case.
Equipment includes GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO Cath Lab technology.
The unit emphasizes advanced skills and experience in Cath Lab procedures.
Candidates can expect a supportive team environment with new technology and equipment.
