Description
Respiratory Therapist Tech - Night Shift
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
- Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
- Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.
Schedule
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
- No guarantee of hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
- Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS
Additional Information
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption is required before contract start; vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance.
