Special Procedures Tech
Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Special Procedures
- Floor: 2, Main Hospital Building
- Number of Staff: 8 (Day shift only)
- Equipment Used: Philips IR Table
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirements: 1 week per month

- Prostate Embolism
- Tunneled Catheter
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
Required Qualifications
- Valid Special Procedures Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist, including experience within the last year
- BLS Certification
- ARRT Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Knowledge or training in hazardous drug risk management as per USP 800 guidelines
Preferences
- Neuro experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced unit and function independently
Dress Code
- OR scrubs provided or scrub color as specified
