Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job - Maryland

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 3, 2026
• Shift Options:

  • 3 shifts of 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00)
  • 4 shifts of 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)
• On-call Requirements:

  • On-call required approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Weekends and holidays required as scheduled as part of on-call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• ARRT-R or RCIS certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• I9 Attestation and E-Verify compliance
• Background checks including 7-year criminal search, education verification, and state-specific exclusions (Maryland Medicaid Sanctioned Providers List)
• Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 30-45 days prior to start (instant tests not accepted)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for certain units)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (positive titer or vaccination proof required)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination accepted)
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• COVID vaccine not required for this location but documentation collected for tracking
• TB testing: Negative QGOLD/TSPOT or 2-step PPD within 1 year; chest X-ray and questionnaire if positive history
• Competency exams as applicable, including Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (required for Cath Lab Techs)
• Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements, dress code review, appearance standards, parking and vehicle registration, and unit-specific job description must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• Security ID badge photo required (passport-style with solid background)
• OSHA questionnaire required and must be co-signed by agency representative

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and attestations within specified timeframes (some within 72 hours of contract signing)
• On-call and weekend/holiday work is mandatory as part of the schedule
• Manager interviews available if questions arise
