Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVICU

Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care for fresh open heart surgery patients.
Work specifically in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) during day shifts.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
