Description

Cath Lab Technologist – Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4 shifts of 10 hours each (shift times vary: 05:30-16:00, 06:30-17:00, 07:30-18:00)
Hours per Week: 40
Call Requirements:
- On-call 1 time per week
- On-call 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks
- 30-minute response time
- Mandated to fill any vacant call not picked up
Unit Details:
- 8 fluoroscopy rooms
- 1 minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy
- No floating to other units

Job Description

Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations
Possibly scrub devices and assist in electrophysiology (EP) cases
Use equipment and systems including XIM (Philips), EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

Orientation focuses on monitoring in XIM and effective scrubbing and circulating; EP experience is a plus
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
Local placements within an 80-mile radius
