Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Perform vascular ultrasound studies requiring specialized training and RVT credentialing.
  • Studies include arterial, venous, carotid, and graft evaluations.
  • High clinical accuracy is critical as results impact emergent medical decisions (e.g., DVT, carotid stenosis, arterial occlusion).
  • Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted.
  • First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Specialized training in arterial, venous, carotid, and graft studies.
  • Experience as a Vascular Sonographer.

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not required.
  • This position requires high-stakes clinical accuracy due to the emergent nature of vascular ultrasound findings.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate; local applicants within 100 miles will not be considered.
  • Orientation and onboarding may include fingerprinting (specific to certain states).
  • Compliance with internal verification systems and documentation is mandatory.
