Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Everett, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2-week period
• Start Date: ASAP
• Call Requirements: At least 1 weekend per month and 5 weekday evenings per month
• Floating: Required to float to Main OR as needed
• Locals: Not accepted
• Pending License: Accepted

Unit & Clinical Information

• Procedures include CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve procedures, VATS, mediastinoscopy, RATS, carotid cutdowns, laser lead standby, pericardial windows, tamponade, and cardiovascular/thoracic surgeries.
• Scrub experience is not required.
• Charting system: EPIC (Epic experience required).
• Scrub color: Any except reddish orange.
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 staffed beds across campuses.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• CVOR experience with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other exams as applicable by specialty.
• Annual Training: Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules via LMS (Workramp).
• Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required.
• Floating Policy: Acknowledgement required; may float to other nearby facilities.

Work Environment & Other Notes

• Weekends are only required for call shifts.
• Parking cost is covered by the facility.
• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted.

This position offers a dynamic cardiovascular operating room nursing role in a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures. Candidates must be adaptable to floating between units and meet comprehensive health and credentialing requirements.
