Radiation Therapist
Location: Massachusetts, Milford
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Summary
Seeking a Radiation Therapist with at least 1 year of continuous clinical experience. The role requires proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and related software systems, including Radiation Oncology Information Systems and Hospital Information Systems such as ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, and Eclipse. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy
- Experience with Epic
Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
- Submission of a recent (within 6 months) professional color photo (headshot, plain background, no filters or eyeglasses)
- Verification of professional license and certifications prior to start date (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Fit testing for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening: skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry checks, updated if break >6 months
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, and state Medicaid exclusion lists within 30 days of start and annually
- Submission of resume covering past 7 years of work experience with city and state details
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
- Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission
- Confirmation of assignment form required for initial assignment and extensions
Preferred (Optional) Health Requirements
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred)
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred)
- Documentation of chest x-ray if positive TB test
