Registered Nurse – Surgery (General OR)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Work schedule options:

  • 36 hours per week on day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), or
  • Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Rotating call schedule including weekday and weekend call responsibilities, shared between two call groups
• Holiday call rotation may be required if holidays fall during the assignment
• Scheduling may vary based on patient census and staffing needs
• May be required to float to surgery centers as needed
• Use of Epic EMR system required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; cancellations are not limited to 12-hour shifts
• All requested time off must be disclosed and approved at the time of submission; changes after confirmation may risk agency removal from vendor set
• Start and end dates, as well as requested time off, must match exactly between agency contract and facility confirmation
