Job Opportunity: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• May float to units with similar acuity.
• Focus on postpartum care with labor & delivery (L&D) experience required.
• Use of EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• IV start skills.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.

Summary

This travel nursing contract offers a 13-week assignment in postpartum and mother-baby care with day shifts. Candidates must have solid postpartum and labor & delivery experience, appropriate certifications, and meet comprehensive background, health, and competency requirements. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
