Description
Job Opportunity: Antepartum Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Shift: Night, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in the Antepartum core department with floating responsibilities to Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby unit, and occasionally to other birthplaces or patient sitter needs.
- Float assignments predominantly to Labor and Delivery.
- No call requirement.
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
- Use of EPIC electronic health record system.
- Must be credentialed/certified in fetal monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year.
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM).
- Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
