Description
Job Opportunity: PCU Registered Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Night Shift (3 shifts of 12 hours, 18:30 to 7:00)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis, as needed
- Float requirement: Yes
- On-call: None
- Block scheduling: Case by case
- Unit size: 55 beds
- Cardiovascular experience required
- Scrub color: Any (no logos)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- Cardiovascular experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted; prior travel experience not required
- Fingerprint consent form must be signed prior to start (New Mexico only)
- Photo for badge required
- References are not required to clear candidates but may be requested internally
- Orientation safety manual and HIPAA acknowledgement required
- Flu exemptions require accompanying documentation and approval
- All documentation must be current and meet facility standards for clearance
