Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Work with oncology/hematology patients, including care involving Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD).
  • Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Required to work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
  • Summer holiday work required for 1-2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
  • At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
  • Not employed by this health system within the last 12 months.
  • Submission requirements:

    • Copies of required certifications
    • One supervisory reference

Additional Information

  • Orientation dates available in late April and May.
  • Pay multipliers for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours apply (details not included here).
