Description

Job Opportunity: Rapid Response Technician (Allied)

Location

Denver, Colorado

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 6 weeks

Work Details

Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Candidates will float between two hospital locations
On-call with a 30-minute response time
Flexibility required for day and evening hours as needed

Unit Information

14 Operating Rooms
Approximately 70 full-time staff
Typical patient ratio: 1:1 (estimated)
Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists, patient care technicians, and trauma team members
Use of EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Bentall procedure
Aortic Dissection repair

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
DORA certification
NBSTA certification
HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
Knowledge and adherence to Hazardous Drug Risk protocols as defined by USP <800>
