Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Respiratory Therapy

Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory
Number of Beds: 140
Patient Population: Adults and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Equipment Used: Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1 ventilators
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, including every other weekend
Dress Code: All black scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
Experience working with neonate patients
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Additional Information

Preferred certifications such as NRP can be obtained after hire
The unit uses advanced respiratory equipment and technology
Patient care includes both adult and neonatal populations
Schedule includes every other weekend coverage
