Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Operating Room in a 343-bed hospital
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Surgical equipment used; documentation via Meditech
- Set schedules with options for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts (based on availability)
- No floating except rarely for COVID-related needs
- Hospital laundered scrubs provided by the department
- Friendly, team-based culture with staff experience ranging from new graduates to over 30 years

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
