Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Seattle, Washington (Primarily Edmonds Clinic with occasional float to First Hill and rare to Issaquah)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Schedule: No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

Job Description

• Support one surgeon in an outpatient breast surgery/oncology clinic focused on high-risk breast cancer patients or those genetically predisposed.
• Independently work with the surgeon and clinic team.
• Initial training week at First Hill Clinic.
• Responsibilities include telephone triage, new patient calls, surgical teaching, drain care, and coordination of care.
• Work collaboratively with RNs from two other clinics for support and training.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience within the last year, including:

  • Clinic setting experience
  • Inpatient setting experience
  • Outpatient setting experience
  • Ambulatory care experience
  • Oncology experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
