Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location

Newark, New York

Contract Details

Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Weekend Coverage: 6 weekend shifts per contract (approximately every other weekend)
On Call: Required
Floating: Required between Long Term Care and Acute Care settings within the Eastern region as needed
Personal car required due to rural locations; rideshare services are unreliable

Specialty & Patient Population

Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Patient Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, Respiratory Infections
Unit accepts first-time travelers and local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New York
Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Experience in Long Term Care settings
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficient in EPIC electronic charting system
