Description

Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology

Location: New Britain, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

40 hours per week
Four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
No on-call required

Job Responsibilities & Experience

Provide care related to cardiac ablations including A-FIB, A-Flutter, SVT, and PFA
Manage device placement such as pacemakers, CRTs, MICRAs, and ILRs
Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure care for patient admission and recovery
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system
Experience with CARTO and Claris mapping systems

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience with Epic

Additional Information

Must be willing to work at an additional medical center within the same health system region
