MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Akron, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (mixed inpatients and outpatients)
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (mostly outpatients)
• Shift Type: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (total 36 hours/week)

Equipment

• Primarily GE 3T Discovery 750W MRI
• May also scan on Siemens Sola 1.5T

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year

Onboarding & Compliance

• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; video must be watched before test)
• Photo ID (government-issued) required and must be carried on assignment
• Photo for badge required prior to start
• Annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual
• Influenza vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 – Mar 31)
• TB questionnaire required annually if history of positive TB test

Additional Notes

• Physical exam does not need annual update if continuously assigned without break
• Latex allergy notification required to ensure availability of latex-free gloves
• Fingerprinting results must be received prior to contract extension; facility approval required if results are pending
• Travelers with a break in employment greater than 6 months may need to retake onboarding modules
• Legal name must be used consistently in onboarding systems
