Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
Location
- Plano, Texas
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- On-call approximately 13 days per month, including 1 to 2 weekends
- Average 36 hours per week
Unit Information
- Interventional Radiology unit with 3 suites
- Staff includes 6 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift
- Equipment: Phillips imaging systems (2 biplanes, 1 single plane)
- Electronic Medical Records: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
Typical Procedures
- Neuro Interventional procedures (thrombectomies, coilings, MMA’s, spinal angiograms)
- Interventional Radiology body cases (G-tubes, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, TIPS)
- Trauma angiograms (spleen, liver, GDA, renal arteries)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Experience working with Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Vascular Interventional (VI) registry
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Experience with Phillips imaging equipment

- Comfortable with taking call
