Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Location: Kremmling, Colorado (also covering Granby and possibly Fraser, CO)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 2 call shifts
Hours per Week: 32 hours

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) from admission to discharge.
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care.
• Follow accepted standards and protocols including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN).
• Work in a Trauma Level IV Critical Access Hospital setting.
• Achieve patient outcomes through implementation of clinical pathways.
• Coverage includes multiple ED locations (Granby, Kremmling, and possibly Fraser, CO).
• Holidays and on-call shifts are required.
• All requests for time off must be disclosed during the interview process.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Shared housing may be available within 30 miles, subject to capacity.
• Housing rules: no smoking, no pets, no families or partners allowed.

Notes for Candidates

• Night shift with a mix of scheduled shifts and on-call responsibilities.
• Must be comfortable covering multiple locations as needed.
• Prior CAH experience is preferred but not explicitly required.
