Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room with orthopedic and trauma orthopedic experience. The unit specializes in orthopedic procedures including arthroscopies, total joint replacements, and ortho trauma surgeries.

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 453
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 in the OR
• Equipment: Orthopedic-specific
• Documentation System: Meditech EMR
• Scheduling: Choose between 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• On-call: 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating: Not required
• Dress Code: Hospital scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Orthopedics experience
• Ortho Trauma experience

Skills and Experience

• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Trauma orthopedic experience required
• Advanced skills related to orthopedic trauma care
