Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)


Job Overview

  • Work on a mixed acuity unit caring for advanced care level patients, including those on advanced drips.
  • Experience with advanced care or step-down units preferred.
  • Target patient ratios typically 1:4, but may be as high as 1:5-6.
  • Unit may use a team nursing model partnering RNs, LPNs, and PCTs, or primary nursing depending on unit needs.
  • Floating required to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units within the hospital system. Floating may include multiple nearby campuses within 15 miles.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
  • No local candidates accepted; no travel partners allowed.
  • No block scheduling; 36 or 48-hour shifts accepted (OT paid after 48 hours).
  • No more than 7 days of Return to Office (RTO) will be approved.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Stepdown experience
