Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Technician
Location
- Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type
- Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- One rotating day shift from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Department open weekdays 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Rotating shifts required depending on hours
Unit Description
- Endoscopy unit with 8 procedure rooms (3 MAC, 5 Conscious Sedation)
- Includes holding and recovery rooms
- On-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Patient population: All
- Bed count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms
- Daily census: 60-70 procedures
- Clinician to patient ratio: 1:1 in procedure rooms; 1:2/3 in PACU
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
