Respiratory Therapist (36 hrs, Nights and Every Other Weekend)

Job Description

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with every other weekend coverage
Unit: Respiratory
Facility size: 371 licensed beds including Med/Surg, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, Level 2B Nursery
Rotation: Night shift is straight nights; day shift may rotate to 11 AM – 11 PM when needed
Patient ratio: 4 Respiratory Therapists staffed on nights
Equipment used: PB980 Ventilator, Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator
EMR system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
Experience in an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
