Registered Nurse (Surgery) - Contract

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process in a Level III trauma center with multiple surgical specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, OB-GYN, and more.

Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours (day shifts)
• Rotating evening, night, and weekend call shifts
• Typically assigned 1 call weekend (Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM) and 4-5 weeknight call shifts per 8-week scheduling period

Housing

• Newly remodeled studio apartments available nearby (fully furnished, includes Wi-Fi, utilities, laundry)
• No pets, no deposit required
• Availability based on assignment duration and timing

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• Must complete Colorado CAPS registration (may take up to two weeks) prior to assignment
• Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for onboarding
