Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) - Contract

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Operate a variety of radiographic equipment including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
• Provide flexible coverage across multiple facilities with varied shift lengths:

  • Variable 8-hour and 10-hour shifts at one facility
  • 12-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities at another
  • Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, at a clinic
• Average of 3 days of call per month.
• No guarantee of hours or approved time off.
• Must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Hawaii by the start of assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

• Must be able to function independently without supervision.
• Prior travel experience is required (indicated by the need to arrive early for onboarding and flexibility across multiple sites).
• Flexibility to cover multiple facilities as needed.

Shift Details

• Days, varied shifts with call averaging 3 days per month.
• No guaranteed hours or guaranteed time off.
