MRI Tech Position - Massachusetts (Belmont)

Job Details

• Specialty: MRI Technician

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule:

  • Friday: 12-hour shift
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10-hour shifts
• Equipment: Siemens MRI equipment only
• Work Setting: Mostly clinical with some research duties

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification

Health and Safety Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• N95 Fit Test: Within 365 days of start date; no exemptions allowed; must use specific respirator fit test form
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required
• MMR Immunization: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test
• TB Test: Negative TB skin test or blood test (QuantiFERON or T-spot) within 3 months of start date; updated if break >6 months
• Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start date; updated if break >6 months
• Optional but Preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof; Tdap vaccine within 10 years

Background and Credentialing Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; includes county and international residence/employment history for last 7 years
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists; within 30 days prior to start and annually
• Social Security Number Trace: Must be run with criminal background check covering last 7 years
• Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through background check
• Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• References: Two references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
• Skills Checklist: Must be completed within 1 year of submission
• Assignment Confirmation Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions

Additional Notes

• Name Change Documentation: Required if legal name differs from credential documentation
• Positive TB Test: If positive, a negative chest x-ray after the positive test is required (optional but applicable if relevant)
• Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for initial assignment submissions

This position is suitable for MRI Technicians with appropriate certification and experience, who can commit to weekend shifts and meet comprehensive health and credentialing requirements.
