Description
Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Seattle, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, Monday to Wednesday, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:00 - 6:30)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Weekend: Yes (1-2 weekend 12-hour shifts in a 6-week schedule)
On Call: Required (variable call and days, including overnight and weekend call)

Job Description
- Operate as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) with a focus on pediatric patients but open to candidates with strong neuro and orthopedic experience.
- Comfortable managing neuro cases (e.g., craniotomies, VP shunts), orthopedic cases, and airway emergencies.
- Primary role includes circulating in the OR.
- Patient population ranges from neonates to adults across multiple surgical specialties including ortho/spine, craniofacial/neuro/plastics/oral, ENT/ophthalmology, genitourinary/gynecology/robotics, and cardiac.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatrics OR (Operating Room) experience within the last year.
- Neuro OR experience, including neurosurgery cases such as craniotomies and VP shunts.
- Orthopedic OR experience.
- Comfort with airway emergencies.
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with neurosurgery and orthopedics in the OR setting.
